When it comes to "aggregate" storage space, the Diamond's is locked to that 4GB. It has 256MB for ROM plus 4GB of internal storage, so you could say the Diamond has 4.256 GB of space for use, but files in storage will reduce the actual amount of space to install applications. Meanwhile, the Touch Pro has 512 ROM plus whatever size memory card you choose to use. In summation, the Touch Pro is more expandable as it has more ROM and support for memory cards that have more memory capacity, which means more programs can be installed at once, making the Touch Pro important only to people who really use their PPC's
A LOT. Since I do, I will likely get a Pro, unless more information becomes available on the WM7 front, soon. Too bad that extra memory on the sd card can't be used for purposes of more RAM ... lol maybe they should make that happen for WM7, like ReadyBoost/ReadyDrive for Vista ...
