Yeah, I agree that it is more likely the radio doing it's thing that kills the battery than the screen.

The part that bothered me the most was that the reason I bought and paid a monthly fee for the Airave was to eliminate the coverage problem. Prior to getting the Airave, the signal was bad and I missed some calls, but my battery was OK. After getting the Airave, by signal was good and calls were crystal clear, but my battery was horrible.

I do think it is an issue with the phone toggling back and forth between the Airave and the tower that ate my battery.

I am betting if I had no coverage at my house, I would not have had the issue though. I think I had just enough to cause a problem.
