um, yeah, I don't understand how this would be possible, unless you made a bad ROM, default is to fallback to the MS standard directdraw included in sys. The HTC crappy reference hook was slower and 1/2 broken, but, it still played, and definitely faster than 1fps.


maybe you overloaded your ROM?... forget to run g'reloc? .. bad xip?... i think it runs fine on stock too..

misuse of the word driver is also happening here, DDI is the driver, d3dm and ddraw are "hooks". In the end, to fix slow ddraw, you only had to delete a registry key (hence, causing fallback to MS reference driver in sys).
