What are you talking about? There's lots of 3rd party apps (VNC, RDM+, etc.) that do this for the people that don't know how to use the built in RDM with WM6.
People just don't know what they're doing trying to set it up. WM6.1 isn't lacking the feature, people lack the knowledge.
