From the video reviews, it seems like you're stuck with the Today screen displayed w/ that black background and can't change it. From what it looked like in one of the reviews, if you change the "theme," you in essence go to a "normal" wm 6.1 today screen format.

The reason I ask this question is, I have a custom picture as my "wallpaper" in the background for my Today Screen on my Mogul. I'm hoping that, I can have custom picture in the background, while still being able to use the big clock/Touch Flo3D functions.

That's one thing that would disappoint me, if I had to have just that plain background in order to use the TouchFlo 3D and big clock.

Good question! I wouldn't mind just usng the regular touchflo 3d screen for awhile. But I'm sure the "Mad Men" over at xda will come up with something. The things they will come up with this phone should be unreal tho
