Re: Glyph Cache Change = neg effects!?

It's pretty much a blank page in PIE and the result of using a 32K glyphcache is a slowdown in my dslreports reported download speed. With the cache at 16K I can consistently break 1Mbit/sec but the rest of the device slows down.
Basically, large pages (like the full ppcgeeks main page) load quite a bit faster with the glyphcache at 32K but the downlink suffers for some reason.
I mean the screen rotates a bit quicker in most programs but I use PIE the most.
This doesn't seem like an appropriate trade. Is it the fact that there is more memory utilization so it takes more time to render? I thought glyphcache helllped with that?
