The part in the tags about needing to be on one of those plans is so you get your rebates. If you don't want your rebates, just buy the phone and keep your old plans. It's that simple.

I'm just posting the images that I saw, not stating it as fact. I hope that it's not true, as I want to keep my old plan. CS "claims" it's required, but then again they've been claiming the Diamond was going to be available today too. I imagine as long as you have a plan that has data and text included you'd be safe, right?
I wasn't planning to utilize the rebate, as I'm not eligible anyhow, but I'd like to keep my nice retention plan that I've had for some time, and it has data and vision included at $0.00 so I imagine I can still get the phone at full price, and just do an ESN swap then, correct?
