i need some help with this one please...
here it goes..
where i live in the summer is covered by VERIZON only.. no sprint (sprint is in my town, 14 miles away...)
i have unlimited roaming (both voice and data)

i have the HTC touch, with the newest official rom, wm6.1

the strangest thing has been happening for the last 3 weeks...
the phone works just fine for calling/data/text, i can make and receive no problem...
if i use/enable GPS, voice no longer works (or data, or text)
i get signal still.. but if i try and make a call it just hangs on dialing...
i noticed that under settings/device, my username changes from my full name@sprint to my ESN number@sprint

i have called sprint, but they cannot help me because it is not their towers.. they say that it is verizons fault...

but i dont see how it is their fault.. both functions work just fine off of verizon towers... but GPS and voice/data/text
just not after i use GPS...

restarting does not fix it... i must leave the phone OFF for 4+ hours.. then i can make/receive calls again....

im out of ideas...
i have no idea what caused this...
i have GPStoday...

i am up for any ideas...
(in a sprint area, i can use gps/make calls etc.. .NO PROBLEMS)
