Granted, devices flow rather quickly in and out and employee turnover rate can be quite high especially in retail. However, its good to see Sprint getting employees to learn them through actual real life experience and selling accordingly. I'm sick and tired of knowing more about devices, gadgets, computers, and other tech stuff than sales associates just from 5 minutes of looking on the internet.
Funny you should say that. After the training was done, my manager (who is a Very good one i might add), added on his 2 cent to the whole training and what he was taking from it. Basically, if Sprint was taking the time to close all stores down for this, then it was something that he was goning to make sure was not taken lightly. Well lets just say, hes help two people find their calling elsewhere since it wasn't with Sprint. He has a great respect for his employees, but when you mess with his Baby("The Store"), then all fun and games are done. Now dont get me wrong, hes not asking for each one of us to know every in and out to all phones, but you're right, when a customer can come in and blow everyone combined in the store away with knowing more about the devices then theres an issue. By day i'm a NetAdmin, so I do carry a lot of the WM technical load for my store, but I enjoy it and its always fun being the one that everyone turns to for answers, LOL! But I truly believe Sprint does want to be more for the consumer, its just getting the right people in place to achieve it.

And thats it for me from the soapbox before I get warned for thread jacking.
