I'd thiink the program is going to require the same amount of RAM no matter where it's installled. Now programs that appear on your Today screen (those that are accessed on startup) NEED to be in device memory. Otherwise, I'd say install wherever you like, but as you pointed out memory is an issue w/ the Mogul/6800. I typically install to device memory, but leave the .cab on my card in case a reinstall is necessary.
