I am an Alltel employee that has fixed this issue more than a dozen times for people that have flashed phones, and has flashed more than two dozen phones. Call customer service and ask what your system ID should fix the issue. *228 option 3 should also fix it, and it's odd if it doesn't.

This is correct, when i go to oklahoma my roaming triangle blinks, until i changed the home sid/nid to match all the system ids you travel into to make sure it doesnt blink. dial ##778 and hit edit enter 000000 for the SPC then hit view info and then home SID/home NID and enter the system ids you need into it and voila no more blinking triangle, at least till you enter another sys id thas not in there.
