The first post of this thread has the registry settings, but GC's post on the 7th pointed to a misspelling. His cab has the settings spelled correctly.
I'm running PPCGeeks 20273 kitchen. If I remember correctly, on 20270, colonel's 4 column cab worked but didn't give four columns for settings. On 20273, colonel's didn't write the registry at all. Uninstalling it and installing GC's worked and gave the four columns for Settings.
