6800 wifi is b/g. while the 6700 is just b.

evdo rev. A gives u download speed like twice as fast in some areas.
keyboard slides open much easier and smoother.
ofiicial windows mobile 6 support
it fits in ur pocket MUCH better.
scrolling wheel is GREAT
plus u can now see what all the hub-bub is about.

i too miss my 6700, for some reason i just feel it was a more solid piece of equipment. (once u replaced it 3 times and finally got a good one.) but the 6800 has more features so i had to go with that. and i am very happy with the decision.
