I dont understand it all but the PRI included with the GPS ROM will hose your GPS hardcore. You will then have to follow the post about flashing back to stock then back to GPS to get it working again.

Not sure where you got your "Matters of Facts" from, but you're not correct.
I flashed the 6.1 rom from HTC's site then used nueSPL 2.47 to unlock my Mogul then flashed TITAIMG.nbh or (radio 3.42.50) using a microSD card.
I use GoogleMaps & LiveSearch, and they both get faster GPS locks! Now that is a matter of fact!
