I think removing the accelerometer is a big mistake. Not only does it give the Diamond and Pro a sense of motion but it also gives sense of orientation so its not a gimick at all and allot of cool software could be created to work with it. Im sure there will be alot of programs available on XDA-Dev once they figure out how to talk to that particular driver.
