Performance should be similar to a bare bones rom as long as all the applications are not opening up at startup. For example, seven mobile email slows the mess out of a rom, so does sip changer and aeb buttons to name a few. Am I right when I say "bloated" is a rom with too many items in the startup folder?

I have been under the impression that it has many, many programs. But I would say both are correct. The eviler of the two being one that has too many startup on reset, or run in the background. I can handle a bunch of programs that don't really do anything until you start them (like games). More folks should follow my "Custom Start Menu's" tutorial and the start menu's wouldn't be 3-4 pages long (Using quickmenu). Maybee soon I'll sit down and make a template for the stock stuff from the kitchen and then the chefs can trim it/organize their startmenu a little bit...
