Video Player That Supports UNC Paths

Hello...
I have 3 unc paths set up with resco explorer and I'm trying to find a video player that can access them. Windows media player doesn't play xvid. Vlc won't show \\hostname (and when I open vlc with an avi it doesn't play). CorePlayer did play, but it was very unstable (it still didn't show \\hostname, I had to open the file through resco).
I'm playing with PocketMusic and it reads shares. Are there video players that do?
Either that, or can I install codecs in wm6? I could just use wmp if it would work.
JJ

Edit...
I found TCMP and it does what I'm looking for. I have to manually type \\hostname\share, but it's working.
