Yes, the Sprint Touch Diamond CDMA phone will have the same 1340mAH battery as the Touch Pro as according to MANY sources. phonearena.com for one, uberphones.com for another, gizmodo and engadget both have had stories about the leaked specs... etc etc etc.

The 900mAH battery was simply not enough for the GSM version... battery life wasn't as good as it should have been... so the CDMA version will have the 1340mAH battery thus making the Diamond thicker. Supposedly the Sprint Touch Diamond CDMA is 0.55" thick according to the latest rumor. *shrug* At this point we are not talking about a huge difference either way if it is 0.6" or 0.55" or whatever.
