The a7500 is the same CPU found in current models of the Touch 6900 and Titan 6800. Essentially both the same CPUs, except for the size 65 nm instead of 90 nm, meaning less power consumption, less heat. Also offering half the ram on the unit, I think Verizon is shooting for an alternative unit with similar features, adding the option to upgrade internal storage using microSD cards and elliminating the accelerometer (which I guess they see more as a gimick like the cube was, that not many people used anyways). I personally never really used the cube more than to show it off (I don't include one in anymore in my builds), but I will be looking forward to the accelerometer.
Wonder what the battery consumption difference will be between the units.
