Is there anyway this skin could be like the translucent skin in chameleon v2? I'm thinking it could be akin to Doreen's WP skin, but for people who don't use WAD.

Just a thought and if I was a photoshop expert i would make the images, but alas my skills are lacking.

And thanks for all of your hand work with WP!
When you say "translucent", do you mean so you can see the Today theme background behind it?

Unfortunately, this won't work well on the commuter skin, for this reason: Commuter-240 (like Vista Alive) shows the actual moon phases. In order to accomplish this, I have to use a second copy of the background images to "hide" the moon image when it's not a "night" icon. A translucent image wouldn't hide it very well...

Also, the Vista Alive backgrounds are not translucent. They work the same way as Commuter-240 (because Doreen and I came up with "actual moon phase" concept together). Perhaps you're thinking of the side bar on Vista Alive?

If I've completely missed the point, let me know...
Oops...I think the word I was looking for was actually transparent. I was not necessarily think about the icons (at first, but that would be ideal now that you raise the point ), but rather the black and silver outline be more like the chameleon V2 13 series.

Just a thought!
