Keyboard missing key presses? Look here.

Not sure if I'm hitting the right subgroup by putting this in the upgrades forum, but it seems to be where people will most likely be looking for a solution on this one.

I noticed after installing and removing Verizon's Instant Messenger app, that my keyboard was missing key presses like every 3rd or 4th press. Verizon's Instant Messenger app also installs a cab called "Titan Key", which after decompressing the install file I found out was another keyboard driver. It's listed in the "Remove Programs" section as Customization Customize_Tool. Well when I removed the Instant Messenger application, I removed this too. BAD MOVE.

If you did what I did, reinstall Verizon's Instant Messenger application and then when you take it off, leave Customization Customize_Tool on your device. Your keyboard should work correctly after that.

I've seen other people having this missed keystroke problem in the past for other reasons, maybe installing Verizon's application, and leaving behind that tool, you might just fix your problem. Point your phone's browser to http://start.vzw.com/ and look for Mobile IM link.

If I helped, hit the thanks button. Mods: If I screwed up and put this out here and it's already a known issue please kill my thread.
