agps may still need data...if it's not agps then, there has to be some explanation as to why it takes longer to lock, fewer sats and weaker as well.

I recall I discussed this already in some other thread, and
someone told me that
both voice and data channels can be used for AGPS, this is a matter of taste
or choice of the provider...
