Can anyone confirm that this is working? I've installed this ROM and most functions seem much improved, except for the fact that Internet Sharing doesn't see my computer over usb. I've tried on two machines, one without Activesync installed and one with (on that machine I've tried with the "allow usb connections" option on and off.) In each case, the "Status" field of Internet Sharing reads "check USB cable connection."
Is anyone else seeing this problem, and have you found a fix? From what I've read about Internet Sharing, it's supposed to Just Work. Am I missing a step? |
It works... I was having the same problem as you.... but it does work....
1. Disconnect the Apache from PC
2. If you already have ActiveSync running on the PC.. Kill it in the task manager.
3. Start Int Sharing on the Apache
4. Connect the Apache to the PC...
Give this a try.... let me know if it worked for ya
