Thank you for contacting Sprint. I understand that you wish to purchase
the HTC Diamond.
There is a recent update regarding the release date of HTC Diamond. Due to complications with disabling MMS and crippiling the network to prevent this particular phone from even being able to use 3rd party MMS, the release was pushed back by at least a week. From what Executive Support has let us know on Tier I there are also issues with the ROM flash load time taking longer than expected due to the volume of Sprint software being installed to help slow the performance of this phone. Due to these and other internal factors the expected date of the release of HTC Diamond is September 02, 3008 as of now.
If there will be any changes in the release date of HTC Diamond, you
will be informed.
