I think you're missing something major here. How is a Pro with an 8GB card installed in it lesser than a Diamond that can only, ever, have 4 GB? Granted, IF you change out the card on the Pro, you wouldn't have what's on the other card (obviously), but if you, like most people I assume, just install a card and leave it in until you decide you need to upgrade to a larger card, it's the same as having the flash memory hard-wired into the phone, like the Diamond. However, and here's why it's clearly better than the Diamond, when 16 or 32 GB transflash comes out, I can upgrade to that. You'll never have more than 4 GB on a Diamond.
On the other hand, I think I'll prefer the thinner phone and can live with 4 GB, since I still only use 2 GB on my 6700, so I'll be going for the Diamond, but the Pro, with more RAM, the possibility of more flash storage, and obviously the keyboard is not the "lesser" phone.
