Have you been an advocate before? It's rarely a month before the launch of a device, and more often than not, the device has launched before the trainings. Take the Treo 800w for example. We actually had them in store before our advocate got his.
Not to mention October isn't even in the playbook yet. It only goes for the current month and maybe a week ahead. So you are probably looking at September 19th, which would roughly be two weeks after the original launch date.
Your math is just straight flawed anyway, the trainings were originally scheduled for the 19th and 20th, with original launch coming 9/2. That's two weeks apart, not a month. Where are you getting October from?
Edit: One last thing, I've actually talked directly to the guy in charge of the launch of this device, and his exact words from my inbox are "
No launch date is settled yet, so look for a note with the details". If the training is the 3rd and 4th, a month later would be the first week of October, not the 19th.
