I know this thread is old but it is the only relevant one that applies to my situation.

Fresh Bell 6.1 ROM install. Had it about a week.

Google Maps, Opera Mini 4.1, and TCPMPm SPB Full Screen, and Pocket RAR were all that was installed. PHM Registry Editor was installed for getting rid of Threaded SMS. I DID loose all sound with SRS WOW, but after i un installed it everything worked.

It sort of happened out of no where. I powered on the phone and then noticed I didn't get any text / email message notifications (it was my birthday, and I was getting 100 messages).

MSN still makes sounds, and SMS SENDING still does sound and a Pop-Up.

I am out of town for a few weeks so a hard reset is out of the question until I get back.
