The 1st thing to look into is whether or not AllTel is a CDMA network or GSM network. The Treo is a CDMA device, so if AllTel is a GSM network, then you're out of luck. Now, if it happens to be a CDMA network, you'll have to find out if AllTel will activate another carrier's device on their network. Sprint, for example, does not like to do this. Get these issues cleared up first, then go looking for the necessary ROM. Welcome to Geekdom!
