Well i am on Cricket and have the same phone, ive not been able to get youtube to work IN the browser, but VTap works great for youtube, i can stream WMA via web sites w/o any issues as well. If you are looking for a way to do this all within the browser itself, im not actually sure thats possible.
YouTubePlayer works for me but only when connected via activesync, so im guessing there's a port issue or something along those lines. Anyway good luck, feel free to PM/Email me if you have any questions. Im by far no expert, but have been playing around with Cricket and different phones the last few months and learning as much as i can cram into my head without losing other vital info lol.
