I still have the same issue with this version as I had with the old version, but I believe I found a way around it.

The issue for me appears to be the "Lookup Field" option on the Palm Treo 700WX. From the today screen if I start typing in a contact and hit the action/enter button on that contact, that is when it tends to freeze up.

If I open up the Contact list, then search and select a contact it works fine.
