If anything every single cycle lowers your battery capacity on this type of battery. It will never work better than the first full charge.

I have been tweaking every setting, turning off all the features, which is not exactly fun since I purchased the 800W for the features. Still the battery does not last a full business day.

People seem to think Palm was pursuing a thin form factor, maybe with an obsession over the iPhone, and this blinded them to designing the 800W for a proper battery for a WM6.1 with all these features. I agree.

An 1800 mAh battery would have had no effect on the footprint and add maybe 1 to 1.5 mm to the thickness, about 7 or 8 grams in weight, and about $2 to Palm's battery purchase cost. The 800W would then work as it should through a business day. It is after all sold as a business user handset.
Well gee... If cycling the battery doesn't help.. how come I'm actually a lot happier with the battery life then when I got the phone? If you look at the person who started the thread it was me and I'm actually not complaining about battery life anymore. I think cycling a battery is the same thing as breaking in a baseball glove or a cars engine when their brand new.
