It's probably because of the cost of the phone, along with HTC apparently not caring enough to fix it. It really annoys me that I've had two Moguls and both of them have that bright white spot there. It's an imperfection in the screen that I can't prevent no matter how well my phone is taken care of. On my second Mogul, the spot came up less than a week after I got it. Would you be upset if that happened to you on, say, an LCD TV?

And your post should have probably went in the white spot thread.
