Not sure how to include them directly, and that wouldnt keep track of changes/new contacts so you might get into a big headache doing it that way. Like s4n3_0n3's suggestion but even easier I find is to signup for a free mail2web exchange account, build the connection settings into your ROM. When you hard reset, the connection is already there and ( assuming you built your password in, but not recomended ) it will sync your contacts, calender and email immediatly. just like having them built in, but it keeps them in sync etc as well.
