Fear not. Dial ##778, enter 000000 as the lock code. Hit the triangle and go to modem settings. Lower the cycleslotindex (I think that's what it's called, it's the first option) by one numer (if it's at 1 change to 0, if at 2 change to 1). Then you might want to dial *22899 and update.
