Ok, so here is how i connect on my MacBook...
1) On the device i open ICS. Set to Bluetooth and click connect. If your bluetooth wasnt previously on it will ask you, obviously say yes.
Btw, i keep my bluetooth status thing in the menu bar on the Mac. You can set that in the system preferences.
2) Then i click on the bluetooth icon in the menu bar. (If your device and Mac are not synced then do so now by clicking 'setup bluetooth device...' and follwing through the prompts. make sure you click 'mobile device' when it asks the device type.) Mouse over your device (it should be in the drop down if paired).
Do not click. You just highlight it when you mouse over, and it will expand a menu. The last option should read 'connect to network'. Click that option.
3) The device should now read 'Connected' in the top left. As well as three dots in a horizontal row over the bluetooth icon in the menubar on the mac.
4) You should now be able to fully browse the internet.
5) Enjoy.
