Re: Battery life on 800w

Cycling through the battery is a bunch of horse****. These batteries are rated for a
certain number of complete charges and discharges. Your hair needs conditioning more
than your battery does.

On a more positive note, my Treo 800w has push contacts/calendar, is checking 2 IMAP
boxes every 5 minutes. It's getting e-mails and I even use my phone to make calls or
perform other tasks. The battery lasts between 12 and 16 hours on a complete charge,
depending on how much talking takes place. If I didn't touch it, it would last even longer.

I am employing regular, sensible power-saving settings; I didn't download any special
programs, I am not running extra software and I am not worrying about bogus battery
techniques.

The 800w does have a battery problem: it's 12-16 hours instead of my desired 16-24
hours on a phone that powerful. That could only be accomplished with a larger battery.
The E90, which has a 1500 mAh battery easily lasts 2 days doing more. There is no
magic here.
