My sons phone was mistakenly reported as stolen, due to a missed keystroke by Sprint, and they retired his ESN. When I contacted them the rep explained that once the ESN is retired it cannot be put back into the system. They instead had to send a a replacement for a phone that was only 1 month old and completely functional.
Just something to consider so that you don't mistakenly sell someone a useless phone.

I think maybe his wife paid full price for her new Treo (instead of an insurance claim). This would be the only way she would walk out with a new 800w, unless she got a really friendly rep.
By the way dschoenike, if you decide to post the Titan on the Bargain Trader, be sure to shoot me a PM and let me know how much you're asking for it. May be interested...
