Re: Qwest And Verizon Update Via Online Chat With Qwest

Sorry to double post,

I talked to their chat as well here is what happend

Chat InformationThank you for using Qwest.com. A Qwest Sales and Service Consultant will be with you in just a moment.
Chat InformationThank you for contacting Qwest. My name is Annette M. (20257). How may I help you today?
Ken: I am strickly a Qwest wireless customer I do not have any other services and thefore am not bundling anything
Ken: When will I be able to transfer to verizon wireless, Would I be able to today? Your site says nothing about NON bundled users transfering only that you don't want bundled users for the billing issues your having

There was almost 5 minutes with no answer then I wrote this:
Ken: umm hello?

Annette M. (20257): You can't migrate today, as indicated above.
Annette M. (20257): It should begin later this week.
Annette M. (20257): I apologize for the inconvenience.
Ken: is there an approx date set for that?
Annette M. (20257): Again, it should be the end of the week, which is the 8th.
Ken: Would I be able to go into the mall kiosk for qwest to switch?
Annette M. (20257): Kiosks can't handle migration requests.
Ken: oh ok
Ken: thank you!
Annette M. (20257): You're welcome. May I help you with anything else today?
Ken: your have given me more and better info than anyone when I called most have just said I don't know so thank you
Ken: no thats all thanks again
Annette M. (20257): Thank you for using Qwest.com today. Our goal is to provide you with excellent service. If you need further assistance, please click here for additional customer service options on Qwest.com

It's kinda vauge but I got the same answer (which has not happend at all when I have talked to anyone at qwest) hopefully this means its for sure. I wanna know why kiosks can't handle it though, If they could transfer numbers to qwest when it was qwest wireless why not the other way around? I am sure they can't transfer when lets say a ATT user goes to them to go to verizon. Oh well.....
