If your phone still works Just make sure you have a FAT32 formatted mem card and the official bell rom renamed insert mem card and load into bootloader mode. I have just done this on a bell vogue works lik a charm
to get into bootloader mode hold down the power and camera button and soft reset with the stylus

ps just to clarify I too had install a gps enabled rom and was able to do this
