Phone soft resets when there is no signal
Hi guys.
When I ride the metro and the signal is non-existant or weak, my phone does a soft reset on it's own or sometimes the backlight shuts off and I can't wake it up. Pressing the power button on the side won't turn it on, instead I have to poke the stylus and do a soft reset to turn it back on. The soft reset / can't wake it up issue doesn't happen when I have a consistent signal.
I know it's not a software conflict because this happens even after a fresh hard reset, free of any installed programs. The phone will soft reset on it's own even if I put it in flight mode!!!! 1 yr warranty is up and no insurance. Any ideas?
