How old is your 6700? The same thing happened to mine when it was about 11 months old and I dropped it. I sent it to UTStar for service and they repaired it for free. If you are within your 1 year warranty that is what I would do. If you have tried everything in Raging Idiots post and that didn't work then you are probably dead in the water. It is most likely that your radio has died. You can't just buy and replace a radio chip because it is part of the main board. I basically got a brand new 6700 just that it was in my old 6700 shell.
