One serious problem with verizonguy's ROM was that you couldn't pull up a keypad once a call had connected. That made it impossible to type in numbers when working through automated phone menus, typing in PINs, etc. That was a deal-breaker for me.

Kirvin's ROM doesn't have much extra in it. It does have CF 2.0 (instead of the CF 1.0 that Verizon put in), he added a better calculator, he included a Java applet interpreter). He also included Windows Live (a decent application, I hate to admit ) - though I need to use Google Maps as well, since the two applications don't do exactly the same things.

He also removed Pocket MSN, which I don't miss too much.

It's pretty light fare for a "cooked ROM". After the initial installation, less than 10 MB of Program RAM was being used.
