I definitely agree with your suggestion and I appreciate all the support.

They are going to ship me a refurb by tuesday afternoon, then i have 10 days to ship this one back... hopefully i can put it back to stock by then =).

I think now it is more that this is pissing me off because i am pretty sure it is just a pin issue. If i compare the pics from the links you posted to mine, the first set of pics (correct orientation) have 5 pins, mine only have 4 pins (and what appears to be a bent one).

i may hit up a verizon store with my 6.1 rom and just ask them to reset the pin if they can.. we'll see =). I'm going to attempt to do this myself right now... but i might just fubar it all up
