Is there any way to make the default screen the Cube and customize it from there?

I did a search on it and couldn't find anything on it.

I know that I could just install Ultimate Launcher and configure it to look the same from there, but I never liked the fact that I could still pull up the cube if I had Ultimate Launcher.
