Re: The Best Bluetooth device for the Touch......
I got my Sprint HTC Touch about 2 weeks ago. Got the Motorola H12 bluetooth headset at the same time. The headset was light and comfortable enough and it sounded very good to me. BUT, every single caller that I asked said I sounded "terrible" or "underwater" or "in the shower." A few people asked me to stop shouting. In fact it was a regular complaint that I sounded too loud, especially when people had me on a speaker phone.
A couple of days ago I gave up on the H12 and picked up the Plantronics Discovery 925. The difference has been night and day. Every single caller says that I sound "fine" or "good" and no complaints about being too loud or garbled.
The 925 doesn't have an ear hook, which is good for me since I wear glasses all the time. The in-ear part has a little tab that keeps it in place even if I shake my head around. I'll give it a real test on my bicycle and motorcycle over the weekend.
One really nice feature is the carrying case. The case has a small battery built in so when the headset is safely in it's case it's also charging.
So far I'm very happy with this. More news over the weekend.
