And what I did was just ran a lot of crap (like the Assisted cab) to "inaugurate" my GPS module. After that (hard reset) I just needed to conserve the Holux GPSViewer to warm the module up since it takes a long time to start finding/locking sats (we are talking about minutes here).
BTW, I can use Holux to warm and (sort of) save the sats to cache. Then GPS apps won't take that long to lock. I would like to use QuickGPS but it always sends an error-download msg.
I know my GPS sucks but at least I found a way to make it work.
PS: Is there any thread dedicated to the use of the Holux GPS Viewer? it helps but I don't fully understand how exactly do those cold/warm/hot buttons work and affect the results.
