The only real use today was DL'ing my emails, about 150 full messages. Played with the GPS for a couple minutes this morning and made sure to exit the app so not to get battery drain. Even soft reset after. Still after that was complete i had just over 50% at around 11:30 AM. I can usually go 2 full days until this point (stock battery).

Other issue: If i go to Start Menu -> Today, nothing happens. Go through the Settings -> Today, it works. Wierd.

I also have a question regarding the HTC GPS Tool. Should the baud rate be set to 4800? Does this matter? Does this setting effect any other app that utilizes the GPS?
My battery seems to be good....@ 9pm last night I was @ 50%....I have 4 pop3 accounts that check every 30, and outlook push.....but I only dl headers. I charge every night, and have never seen 2 days on 1 charge on any rom.

Start menu -> Today is meant to show the desktop, not the today settings.

Thank You
1% battery status is just that, your battery status will show in 1% increments instead of 10%.

regedits include battery tweaks, internet tweaks, etc....too many to list.

Typically i map S2U2 to the "camera" button for a quick and easy lock of the device. If i press the button, nothing happens. Anyone else have this glitch?

I'll check detailed status of battery drain tomorrow. Gonna soft reset while on the charger tomorrow and see what i get. No GPS or nothing. Just regular phone, text, email usage. Ill check back in tomorrow afternoon / night.
I'm not following you 100%, I just checked buttons, remapped to camera album, and it worked just fine. If you are not seeing "button 1" & "button 1 (press & hold)" in the window, you may want to hard reset.

I know that the software is supposed to use COM4, but I do not know for sure if this needs to be set under External GPS or not. Theoretically, we are now using Internal GPS, but GPS Viewer only works for me if I have the software COM port under settings set at COM4. Last night I had a good solid lock on satelites and was able to use Google Maps and Live search with the GPS. GPS Today also locked on my location. Since then I have had no luck locking on satelites. It shows Satelites and activity and GPS found under GPS viewer, but no lock today. Most devices that have GPS internally, use AGPS to assist in getting a GPS lock. I was wondering if we are missing this feature, as we did not install the Sprint customizations. If we had a way to get a hold of a .cab file that installed AGPS, I think that it would improve our success in getting a lock. Also if I knew the ideal baudrate to set my GPS at, in Google maps you can manually set the GPS port and baudrate under `Options` If anyone has any advice please advise. I am not a GPS expert.
yeah, I'm no GPS expert either so I'm not sure.....I know you can change to com port....I've also heard (& tried myself) that you can remove the battery for 5 min, and it will help.
