I found after a long search a PPST file ver. 2.04, will this update my PRI to 2.04_003? Why is it PPST if it updates the PRI, that doesnt seem right? The main difference between the 1.xx and 2.xx PRIs is that they allow access to the sprint GPS assistance server. I imagine with a 1.xx PRI you are having your GPS take a rather long time to lock. With a 2.xx PRI you should be able to get a lock in ~5 seconds (or less), with a significant number of satellites (6+) even indoors.
