I started running the official ROM on HTC's website today.

RUU_PPST_Vogue_SPRINT_WWE_3.03.651.4_2_Radio_3.42. 30_AM_NV_2.04_Ship

So far the only thing that drove me nuts and took a while to figure out was Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) did not allow me to select the network connection. (Sprint PCS). So in turn I could not simply share the SprintPCS connection as I had in the past and had to dial using the phone as a modem. But after some registry searching I found it:

Removed the registry key:
HKLM\Comm\InternetSharing\Settings\
ForceCellConnection REG_SZ Phone as Modem

Fixed my problem.
