OK so here it is finally able to get GPS working for the first time and it locked in around 60sec tracking 4-6 satellites. I went to this web address
http://www.smartdevicefreeware.com/h...l-htc-ppc6800/ and followed it exactly how it says and viola working. haven't been able to test it fully i.e. soft resets, hard resets, driving around, stopping/starting google maps but so far on it's first start-up it's working.
